A 144Hz display updates roughly every 6.94 milliseconds. This page measures browser animation timing and highlights whether the current result is close to the expected 144Hz mode.

How to make sure your monitor is running at 144Hz

Select 144Hz in your operating-system display settings, confirm the correct resolution and refresh rate in the GPU control panel, and use a cable or port that supports the mode. Then restart the test.

What if the result is 143.9Hz?

That is normally fine. Real display timings and browser sampling can produce fractional readings, so a result close to 144Hz matters more than an exact 144.00.
